Meet Renee

Over the next two weeks, I am going to introduce you to some of the core staff from DTBYCTW. Renee Podunovich has a Masters Degree in Community Counseling and a BA in Sociology and Human Services. She first worked with DARE to be You in 1995 and has been with the program continuously since 2003. She knows all components of the program. Most recently she has been the coordinator for the middle school youth component of the CARE to Wait program. She also provides national replication training, parent facilitation and key aspects of our grant management. For the new research project, she will put her experience to work as a site liaison, trainer and technical assistant. Renee also has her own counseling business. She is an accomplished (and published) poet.
